The Daily Teddy (12/21-23)

Earlier this week, sweet cuddly Teddy ("Teddy Bear") occasionally would transform into "scream at the top of my lungs no matter what my parents try" Teddy ("Teddy Monster"). Luckily, we have a number of pediatricians in the family, and we haven't been shy so far about calling them up. We've started using Mylicon to help with his gas, and we've found that putting him in the football hold helps to soothe the pain.

Yesterday, we officially got the diagnosis: nothing is wrong, and so he therefore is colicky (a great catchall phrase- we should definitely have similar phrases in other parts of life). We're hoping it won't be too bad over the coming weeks and months, because we really love Teddy Bear and we're a little frightened of Teddy Monster!

Teddy is now 3 weeks and 4 days old, and as of yesterday, he weighed 10.2 pounds.

Here's some photos and videos of Teddy Bear; we don't have any photographic evidence of Teddy Monster as of yet, but I assure you he exists!

You can, however, begin to see him transform into the Teddy Monster at the end of this clip:
