Teddy's Baptism and First Ballgame

We had the best weekend! Teddy was baptized at the Easter vigil, which was incredibly special for our family. Dave’s brother, Andrew, and my sister, Anneliese, are Teddy’s godparents, and we’re certain they’ll do a phenomenal job giving Teddy lots of love and guidance as he grows up. They made the trip to Seattle for the big occasion, along with my parents, our sister-in-law, and Teddy’s cousin. Thanks, everyone!

Zach joins in, with a little lift.

Teddy’s initial baptismal romper is in the photo on the right. It was a 5 a.m. service, and this outfit lasted until around 5:20 a.m. This mama knows her baby well. Lucky for us, there were 10 readings prior to the baptisms -- plenty of time to change Teddy into the second outfit.

Little Zach is so sweet to Teddy, and it’s great fun to see the boys together. One of our big outings was for Teddy and Zach’s first baseball game. (The A’s beat the Mariners 5-2).

A big weekend, indeed!
